Hey there everyone, i was wondering if anyone had done a biodiesel conversion on an 8v92. I was wondering how feasible the process was for me. Thanks for the information.
No real conversion needed to run biodiesel. You will need to change the filters very often for the first few thousand miles as biodiesel tends to pull any junk from the tank along with it.
You might be thinking about WVO and not biodiesel in which case you should look in the help section for topics on WVO.
Detroit Diesel only recognizes B-5. Just for your information. Good Luck, TomC
The only conversion necessary for biodiesel is to swap out all the rubber hoses that come in contact with the fuel with Viton hoses. Hoses for my little VW pickup cost me $95. Biodiesel is VERY corrosive. It will turn normal rubber to jello in no time.

if you run anything over 5 you'll be needing some fuel heat as well if you operate in cooler climates.
Local school district runs b5 and had gelling issues over the weekend
I had B100 in my old 04 and it gelled at 55
