Title: External Brake Buddy antenna
Post by: jjrbus on July 01, 2007, 08:12:06 AM
My Brake buddy monitor does not work well in the bus. I tested it in toad and it works. I @$# u me that it is the metal of bus that is interferring with signal. Could I extend antenna approximately 3 feet and what would I use to do it? The antenna is held in place by a screw. The $ is for size reference.

Mine works fine, but I tried to place both units where it had more of a direct line. I tie wrap the unit in the car to the driver's seat belt and place the unit in the coach in the cup holder at the drivers toll window. This give the opprotunity for the signal to come down the side of the bus instead of trying to travel down the center. Works for me!
