I am taking Nick's advise and buying a KVH A7 satellite for my bus. Problem is I cant find anyone who wants to sell one around here. I have tried Googling "KVH A7 for sale in Los Angeles" and in San Diego and I am getting nowhere. Anyone know of a place I can pick one up here in So Cal??
If you have a number for KVH give them a call asking for a dealer in So Cal. Used to live there, I will search my cob web brain some more.

There web site does not list a dealer or distributor in Southern California. I find that hard to believe!

Nick, on the website thats a A7 for autos will the dish work on a rv kvh shows that a RVs needs A7-RV but i like the 5 "high dish the only difference i can see in the 2 units are the A7 you can get up 185 channels and the A7-RV you get 300 channels don't know if the extra channels are worth the price
pplmotorhomes sells them too, look at their web site. They say fast delivery.

The RV version does Not require the roof rack mounting thats standard with the A7 car version. RV models mount flat!
Thats the only difference! Cool Huh....
Good Luck

Its hard to tell from the pics regarding the flat roof installation. I wonder how much of that stuff is really unique enough and indispensible to want to pay $120 for it. Looks like a bunch of brackets and things, probably half of which you wouldn't use.
I've made so much stuff for that bus, it would be a crime to overpay for something like that. Better to have several months of programming instead.
