I saw this listed on E-bay and thought it was nice...Someone spent alot of time and money in this coach..Its been repowered with a 8v92DD Turbo 480 HP..I thought you guys might like a look see
I was browsing the 'bay today and saw it; it's the first MC6 I've seen. It really is a nice looking bus, but it sure has some puny looking brakes.
i have # 95, i wounder what # that is?
The raised roof takes out the cool stair-step, but the added head room would be nice. My wife is short and I am only 5'10'' so we decided to save the $ and the look of the bus and keep it the original height.
The bus is the only one to come from the factory with a 12V71. Mine is repowered with a 8V92 also, so much room in the engine compartment I can crawl all the way around. Its great.
Interesting to see what it goes for.
ashame to ruin the lines of a classic like that.
to each thier own I guess.
To the member that has MCI-6 number 95 here is the history of your coach when it was in Greyhound service.
20095/8272 From MCI to Eastern Greyhound Lines #4198 to Greyhound Lines West #7318. ;D
jlv ::)
Very cool. Where did you find the info?
I agree that it is a shame to mess up the lines of the bus.
Information on the MC-6 production serial numbers?
The information is from a fellow bus fan that is a intercity bus historian.
Where he got the information I do not know,Sorry.
jlv ;D
Prevost windows, if you noticed.
Yea ... a MCI-Prevo LOL I guess he could decide which bus he wanted

JLV -The guy who's got this coach up for auction says it's VIN #7826, but I wonder if that's it's GLW fleet number??
;)
My guess is he cut and pasted the top of a Prevost on there. :o

Hi, I think so...I have a Prevost, Le Mirage, 1982 and I can say that this coach is builded with a Prevost's windows and top. It look like a Prevost...I'm sure! MCI had never have the top and window like that...(sorry for my poor english ???)
Gaetan,
Never worry about your english or spelling here.
A large majority of the college students in the US today can't put together a sentence in english, let alone one in french.
If we misunderstand what you've written, we'll ask for more details.
Post as often as you like!
