Title: 60 series DDEC IV, Turbo Boost

What sort of boost pressure should I be seeing at around 2000 rpm.
I only see 4.1 psi which I think should be a little more.

2000rpm is also getting close to the governor.  More to the point would be what boost do you put out at 1800rpm?  Series 60 puts out max power at 1800rpm, that's why revving them higher does nothing more than waste fuel.  Boost at 1800rpm under full load can be as high as 30psi.  This also depends on which Series 60 you have (11.1, 12.7, 14.0 liter), what horsepower it is set to, and what year it was made.  I can guess that at 4.1psi, you would be only putting out about 100hp without putting out black smoke-which a Series 60 should NEVER do.  Good Luck, TomC

Gee, when I went from 1800 to 2000 rpm, the bus went about 10-12 mph faster. LOL

I would depend on what load you had on the engine as to what boost you have.  The more load the more boost.  If you are going up a steep hill with full load it should be between 25 and 30 in.  Down the other side foot off no load 0.
