Hi Tim,

I believe all manual trans vehicles can be towed..  It's the automatics with 4wd's that are of concern.

Anybody else have any more info?

I had a 1998 Chevy S-10 That was  a 5 speed Manual, and I after I tow rigged,I found out that It could not be towed! The best bet is to check with REMCO,They have a toll free number ,and will give you all the perimeters!;HAPPY TOADING!!

From Remco

You can tow any front wheel drive manual transmission vehicle as far as you want and as long as you want.

The Motorhome towing guide will only tell what cars are towable per the manufacturer.

Some rear wheel drive standard shift have the fifth gear in the tailshaft and may get starved for lube when towed.

I really beleive that your Nissan can be towed even though Nissan will not approve it.  However, I will not pay for your trans repairs  :P
