Here she is
purty
She's a passenger coach now but shes taken her last trip..I have a Eagle but This is a new toy to tinker with..The Eagle took forever it seemed but hey she's served me well for almost 9 yrs with no major issues..This one Im wanting to go all out ..Copper shower and sinks marble floors..After being in the Eagle for so long Ive got a feel for what I really want in a coach..The Bird is for work this baby will be all play...lol
Stupid question-why do you want to reskin it? Looks pretty good to me! A few dents-thats what Bondo is for. And if its because you want that shiny stainless steel-I say be different and give her a really nice paint job. Good Luck, TomC
If it was me, and I won the lottery, I would reskin her with new shiny stuff. You should get a few bucks for the scrap metal to boot.
Any pictures of your Eagle available? I'm an Eagle nut anyway, just collecting photos for my own personal use.
Good Luck on your project, post some pictures as you go along so we can drool. :P
I would love to see the work as you go along.
Happy Trails,
Paul

Hi Tom
The reason I want to skin it is to get rid of some of those windows..I like that shiny new toy look but I dnt want it on mine..I want to keep whats crome now but not add any more and Im sure not going with one of those wild bug your eyes out of your head paint scemes..Dark blue and chrome thats it
Musicman, Prevost makes a panel that covers two windows! Each panel will cover two windows. These panels are aluminum. Of course the old window and panel will have to be removed before installing the new panels! I have a bus conversion site that shows these panels. It might help you. I raised my roof and replaced all of the panels it takes 10. I purchased new windows and gaskets with sliders, I wish the windows for the early LeMirages were dual pane but they aren't! With the curved sides on a LeMirage, horizontal slider windows like most use for conversions won't work........! Pat

I was watching that one on EBay myself. If you got it for close to the highest bid, than you got a pretty good deal. It is just about what I am looking for too. Best of luck. Post plenty of pics. I need lots of ideas before I get mine. ;D
I paid a little over last bid..The only reason I bought it was because I wanted to do another coach and Dang this thing is clean..The fact that it just had the 8V71 rebuilt with documents was a plus.I want mine to shine like this when Im done
Lorettas coach is a 1999 45ft Prevost with 60 series automatic with roof and basement airs..( Just in case one quits) She hand picked everything inside and outside
Well good deal for you Music Man! Looks like a really good platform for yer coach. Lots of possibilities with that one. I am just too chicken to "pull the trigger" on one just yet. ;)
Once you bite the bullet the first time is as easy as 1,2,3...I just got offered a 1990 Eagle with auto and 8v92 with documented rebuild 60K ago for $25K and I believe he will take $20K..Something Im thinking about..Thank God I have a huge yard
