Apple has a new browser out for Mac's and Windows "Safari" Go to Apple.com and check it out it sure is a lot faster than IE and Firefox. It is free.
1. Safari is not a "new" browser. It's been around since at least 2003. What our friend Steve-O announced this morning is a Windows version. And that it runs on the iPhone.
2. Unless you've done a bunch of benchmarks in one morning, you sound like you are parroting Steve's marketing hype -- "Faster than x and y..." Steve would love for everyone to jump on his browser bandwagon -- it will help him sell more cell phones.
3. Just what the world needs: "Don't use this proprietary software, use this other proprietary software instead -- it's better." Given the number of gaping security holes that keep cropping up in proprietary browsers that can't be evaluated or fixed by third parties, I think I'll stick with open source, thank you very much.
I'll get off my soap box now, considering this is a bus conversion board. But hey, you started it!
