I am going to look at the service manual, but have not had a chance.
I looked under past the tires, and it appeared to me that the air bags on the right side(drivers) were deflated. and the ones one the left were still inflated . I was under the impression that they were all supposed to bleed. any thoughts?
the viagra didnt work on the bus, but I got the windsheilds in. thanks. that was a chore that I looked at, then felt silly for asking. simple.
however, even with some auto machanic experience I am new to the bus mechanics.
thanks.
I have the detroit deisel corp service manuals, sections 1-3 and 4-15, I dont see the air shock system.1958gm 4104 inline 6.anyone got a schematic?
Sanger,
You don't have air shocks, you have air ride suspension using airbags.
It sounds as if you leveling valves are leaking.
Block up the bus VERY WELL, ( we want to see more of your posts,) because if you cralw under without doing that you cabn become suddenly two dimensional.
Ceawl under the bus with a sprayer bottle full of soapy water and start squrting everything that looks as if it has to do with the airride system. Every line, connection, tank, bag and valve. When you see bubbles, you have found a leak.
More people will have more help for you also, so keep checking back and let us know what you've found.
DallasGO BUSING!
A squirt gun instead of a spray bottle, can be more fun ;D!!!
Use the kid's soap bubble stuff in the squirt gun, works really well.
