Maybe not such a good deal. A couple of weeks ago (maybe less) there was a guy trying to give one (4905) away, free.
It went for $1079 less than the one you are refering to.

Yes I got the free one. Had to drive it 300 miles to get it home though. It ran fine. Jerry

So Jerry, since you now have a real bus (GMC), do you want me to take care of removing that ugly one (MCI)? ;D
No Kyle the GM is already spoken for since I took my son with me to help get it going. He followed me home driving my caddy at 65 to 75 MPH and now he wants the bus to make into an RV. We got all kinds of comments at the truck stop where we were working on it getting the fuel return leak fixed and he likes the classic look. Jerry
Speaking of pics too big to post, can someone tell me if there is a preferred setting I should use on my digital camera (which is smarter than I am...) so I can post pictures without viewers having difficulty seeing the whole thing?
Dennis
Try changing the picture quality to the setting that lets you get the most pictures in the memory - then each picture will be a smaller file size. They will also lose detail & look grainy, but there ain't no free lunch. . .
Jerry, glad to hear that you have influenced your son in such a positive manner! :)
He will soon learn that there ain't no such thing as a free bus ;D ;D ;D BTDT
I tried to tell him about the work and the cost but he is a determined man. When he gets done building the house on his farm he wants to start on the bus. The bus runs great although the shifting mechanism is a little stiff. I was going to steal the tires but I guess I will let him have those too. Jerry
Go ahead & borrow his tires, they won't like sitting up any at all. They will last longer with regular use. By the time he gets to working on the bus, you will be able to help him find another great deal! :)
The only problem with changing the tires is they all have to be dismounted as the wheels are different on the
GM. It has a matched set of firestone 315 80R22.5's which with my two new 12r's would make me a complete set. Oh well I'll have to think about that. Jerry
