Is the board getting slow again or is it my computer? when I hit the back button it takes forever sometimes.
I've noticed that too, it does seem to be slow today.
Hi Ron,
It seems fast on my end. Hummmm!
Anybody else having this problem?

Fine here too, But with a 7 megabit inbound connection I wait for a lot of stuff.
Must be Ron hogging the bandwidth to post "remarkles".... :o :o

Hey Guys,
A computer guy told me one time that if you don't shut down your computer at least weekly it will start to slow down. I used to leave mine on 24/7. I don't do that anymore, also he said to go to and click the tools tab at the top left of the page, then scroll to the bottom and click on Internet Options and then under the General tab click delete cookies and after that go down and clear the History. The first time I did this my computer went from a slug to a bunny rabbit. I am sure their are other guys on here who know their way around a computer much better than I do. If you need help I know Phil has offered his help to me before. Also there is a Board Help area on the front page as you come in.
Hope this helps.

Sucks getting older Ron, lol Happy birthday.
But seriously
When I go to the Mak home page = http://www.busconversions.com/ and click on the
Bulletin board button, it sometimes takes 2 or 3 tries or some time to get to =
http://www.busconversions.com/bbs/index.php?PHPSESSID=8accgav8div1qq85vb6oa4i5o1;www
Once here everything seems to be working fine.
If I just go to = http://www.busconversions.com/bbs/index.php?PHPSESSID=8accgav8div1qq85vb6oa4i5o1;www
It comes right up , no waiting.
It's running fast and reliable here.
ED, I just tried all three links and they all came up in less than a second.

Wow. Sure hope we are not going back to the troubles we had previously that supposedly was fixed by the transfer.
Richard
I haven't had any trouble with the forum being slow on any day lately. There were the problems with notification emails right after the change over, but even those seem to be working well now. I've been pretty satisfied with the performance since the change.
Thanks for the input guy's..
The system seems to be fine and running normal.
Ron, let me know if this continues for you and we will all pitch in a buy you ad ware remover.....Lol
Nick-
If just a few people are experiencing lag, it could be a bad route somewhere along the way.
If you are still having the issue, maybe you could post a traceroute.
If you are computer savvy and familiar with the command window, open the command window, do a tracert to www.busconversions.com and copy/paste the results into a reply to this thread.
For those not familiar with how to do that:
- Click Start Button>Run> then type in cmd and press enter
- Type tracert www.busconversions.com and press enter
- Right click inside the command window and choose "mark", then use your mouse to select all of the text following the "tracert" command.
- Press the enter key.
- Switch to the window for replying to this message, click in the text box where you want to put it and press the "Ctrl" and "V" keys simulataneously.
If a bad routing point appears, Phil can report that to the server hosting support and they should be able to help.
