I put my dryer in a bay thinking it would be ok down there (Not) Inconvenient, have to carry wet clothes outside dry them, carry them back inside. If it's raining then there's that mess to deal with. I was going to vent it through the floor then through the bay floor but I only have a few inches between wall and dryer and too much stuff in the way where I would have vented it in the bay. Have any of you vented your dryer through the wall? Specially on a MCI8? What did you use for a vent? Does it need to be able to close? I want it to be flat on outside wall.
A regular house dryer vent cover should work except maybe the pipe diameter. They make dryer vent covers that are flat with louvers that open when in use.
