Can anyone tell me the model and part # for the air chambers (air pots) on the front axle of a MCI 5C

Glenn, the chambers should be standard units. They are easy to take off. Grab one and take it down to a truck supply house and they will be able to give you the exact replacement.
There have been a couple of threads on air brake chambers in the past. I always jump in and strongly recommend that the whole chamber be replaced - not just the diaphragm. I used to manage our test lab that used the chambers to test the diaphragms we made. We had some chambers fatigue after a lot of cycles.
The chambers are relatively cheap and it is not worth the savings. Also, while replacing just one side will not affect the braking action, it is best to replace both sides of one axle. The thought being that if one is bad the other might also be going bad.

Glenn, the size of the brake chamber will be stamped on the diaphragm cover, in the center, around the bung for the fitting or plug. Get a wire brush to clean this area, you'll see a 2 digit number. Might see a 16, or 24.
Jim makes a great suggestion too. You can always just take one to your local truck parts house and match it up. It's not a big deal at all. Good luck.
