Hello Phil,
Marc sent me the link. I'll lurk around a bit and watch how things go and maybe make a comment or two...

I just noticed that a reply takes the thread to the top of the list. I think that is good, since things get lost when they are down the list of threads a ways.
Jim
I also like the notify feature. Most boards make this a fixed function. Here it looks like you can make a choice for each thread.
The more I look, the better I like it.
Jim
Hey Jim,
I noticed that the replies move the thread to the top of the list also. Nice feature. You can tell right away what threads have had activity on them.
Did not look at the notify feature yet.
I also just noticed that when you reply, it puts the entire thread below the edit window (in reverse order), so you can go cut and paste things, if needed. On the old board, you had to go back and forth, or open a new window. Very clumsy.
Appreciate all the comments - please keep 'em coming. I will read and see what can be done. Thanks all !!
Best Regards, Phil
Latest to - do: Figure out how I got all those stars. 8)
Is there any way to have the thread displayed in reverse order when you open it? Or maybe a condensed format so you can go directly to the last few that might be new. Kind a pain to scroll to the bottom or have to go to the next page if it's a long thread.

If you use the
YaBB SE theme, there is a box to check to put the posts in reverse order. i.e. last post at top of page.

My mistake. I just went and checked and that selection is available in any Theme as part of the change profile selections.

Just saw your first post and went and tried it. Saw it was on the other theme, also. Tried it. Didn't like it as I thought I would. I like the little icon on the right that takes you to the last post in the thread.
