Hi all,
I found this old International at a truck salvage yard today. I will be trying to use the red warning lights for an extra set of stoplamps up high on my bus. I also found a set of grover air horns that measure about 30" long. They are on an old ford tractor trailer rig.
I don't really know what process to follow to get the horns off of the truck. What are the parts I should make sure to get?
Is there an extra air tank I should be looking for?
The cable pull is broken, can I just get that at any parts supplier?
Also, Is the cap on my MC-9 a double layer or just a single thickness of fiberglass?
Thanks,
Devin
Hey, check out that old bus and see if it's in a restorable condition. I have an idea that I'd like to find one
like that one and do some modifications on it and make a nice little toad to pull behind my bus.
As for the cap, it's single layer, unless someone put an upgraded cap on it (not too common on the 9's).
craig
Craig that'd be 1 awesome toad Dude! BK ;D
Devin, I think Gumpy meant to say, the cap is one layer, but if you still have a stock interior ceiling, that's a thin piece of prettiness above your head, easily removed when you take the trim around off.
then you will be at the under side of the cap.
happy coaching!
