I went and had a great time. I returned from Brownsville Saturday. We had 37 Eagles in the lot. It was impressive seeing all those buses in the lot, and I was amazed how many 01's were there. The tour of the factory was really good. Craig has reacquired all the model 15 production jigs and has two model 25's being built. The coach is huge--45' x 102" x 12'7" tall powered by a 500hp Cummins with an Eaton 10spd autoshift tranny. We had mixed reviews on the stainless siding. It looked too much Prevosty for the taste of many.
Craig has factory new torsalastic beams for our buses now and is in the process of acquiring a cache of Eagle parts that have been stored up since the bankruptcy. His family is putting their fortunes into getting this factory going again. We all sure hopes he makes it. It would nice to buy coaches that are made in the USA instead of importing them. Several of the employees are former Eagle employees and could remember assembling some of the coaches we parked in the lot while we were there.
I didn't take any pictures. They didn't allow any picture taking in the factory, but I imagine others will post later on as some of the rally guys get back on the road and get home.

Look at the aluminum skinned buses, look great when new but look really bad when they get in bad shape. Stainless is easier to maintain and makes a nicer overall appearance for a longer period. Smart move that will grow on you. You Eagle owners are like Harley owners, hard to let go of what you grew up with but then realize the change was for the best.
I hope to see the entertainer market return to eagle, old school rules.
i have a lots of photos of the Eagles in the parking lot i will post when i get home or let dreamscape post when i see him this week on my way home
THANK YOU LUVRBUS WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR THEM.
While we wait for some pictures I came across this information on what Craig is trying to create. A very informative discussion.
I hope you find in good reading.
