Title: Restoring Stock Windows on my Silversides
Post by: keithshotrodshop on April 21, 2007, 05:27:17 PM
Took one of the windows out of my Silversides today, and started contemplating it's restoration. I want to keep the sliding windows, but all of the various weatherstriping and felts are shot. I think I can get most of the weatherstripping aftermarket, with exception to a few pieces I may have to get creative on.

Any suggestion where to find the not so common weatherstripping? Also, any thoughts/feelings on restoring the stock sliding windows? I am doing no cutting or filling to the outside of this body, so keeping a stock look is a must.

Luke at U.S. Coach, International Bus Parts, Mohawk Mfg, and J.C. Whitney, also look at Austin Hardware, and McMasters/Carr.
You might also try Google.
