Would anyone like a free wheelchair lift in working condition out of my TMC (RTS) 80206, which is a 40' long, 102" wide bus from Central California, so it's rust free? All you have to do is take it out for me and haul it away... lol
Do these lifts have any resale value? I see them on Nimco for $1,000. How much work is it for me to remove? I see they hook into the air and hydraulic lines, and I don't have any experience capping off such lines.
Any idea how much it would cost to pay a shop to remove the lift?
Thanks,
Kevin
Kevin where are you located? We might could make a deal on me taking it out for you! I'm gonna have to get 1 and install it to stay in compliance with ADA regulations sometime in the near future! BK ;D
The wheelchair lift I need to remove is in San Francisco, California.

Well you need to make a road trip out here to NW Tennessee and I'll be happy to remove it! BK ;D
I had a lift in my MCI5C. One mechanic who helped me sold the one from his bus for $1500. I ended up taking mine to the junk yard, I got $5. I tried selling it, giving it to a charity ect.
I wish I was closer, but like BK, I am in Tennessee.
You might want to look in your local phone book or online directory for Charter Bus operators in your area. One of them might be interested.
