Title: Could somebody look at gauges? MCI
Post by: jjrbus on April 16, 2007, 04:57:08 AM
Could somebody look at the gauges in there MCI 5,7,8,9 and tell me with the with the dash master switch shut off, do the Oil pressure, water tempature and fuel gauge return to zero? Or show a reading. My 5C Oil gauge shows 50lbs, water shows 150 degrees and fuel shows 1/4 tank, is this normal?

Often gauges are set up to read what they did at shutdown.....my 04's generator was like   helps you locate any issues

No problem with your guages.  I just looked at mine and they are all over the place.  Mostly right where they were when shut down.  Oil pressure is about 25lbs, water temp 180, fuel guage 3/4.  The speedo, air pressure, and voltmeter are at zero.
All of my guages work.
Cheers, JR
