Title: Dick Bell, Answer for question on other board
Post by: DrivingMissLazy on April 12, 2007, 06:07:10 AM
Dick had this question yesterday and I had the answer prepared and then discovered I could not post it, so I will put it here:
Go to Google and enter Battery Isolator for a search. Many items come up.
I would suggest a unit with one input and two outputs. One for the house battery and one for the coach battery. After installation, check the actual output voltage of the isolator and set the voltage regulator at the proper voltage. I Kept mine at 13.6 volts when the batteries were fully charged. This is measured at the battery terminals directly.

So, where does one get these diodes? Have you a manufacturers model #? I am interested in anything that will work more or less automatically as opposed to another item on a check list.
