Aren't there two drive shafts for the steering?  One going from the steering column to the miter box (90 degree gear box) and then another going from the miter box to the steering box?  Did you loose the shaft?  If the U joints are loose, have new U joints installed.  Good Luck, TomC

he tom
well the ujoint are bend and have worn out the holes were they are supposed to be attached to the shaft.
maybe i can weld them smaller so that the ujoint doesn't move.

You can call me toll free tomorow at: 1-888-262-2434, and I will try to help you.

I Hope this HELPS!!!

Happy & SAFE!! Busin' to ALL.

hello luke

yeah i've been thinking about it and i think i should not mess with the broken one and replace it with a brandspanking new one.
i can go the welding way and spend hardly any money(but jeopardise my life) or spend some money and live.
mmm easy choice.
thanks
