Harry, it looks pretty professional to me. I bet if you start the gen set it will come back to life. The charger should be hard wired and be automatic with shore or generator power.

Thanks for the reply NJT - But the question is - Where do I plug the shore power cord into the charger??? I don't have the Gen installed yet - so nothing is wired in yet - Harry

The charger needs to be plugged into a energized 120 volt circuit. Ideally, this should be an outlet that is energized from shoreline OR generator. Since your generator is not yet functional, can you run an extension cord to an outlet that is engerized from your shoreline or run an extension cord to an outlet on your house/shop?  Jack

Hey Jack - thanks for the reply - Yes I can plug an extension cord into the garage - But I still don't see a place to plug it in to the charger - Maybe My old eyes are getting slow or dim - but I don't want to go and plug something in where I shouldn't, I would rather not burn something up, and I'm not really an electrician - So I guess I'll Just find someone who knows something about this kind of stuff and be safe - Thanks again - Harry

HarLee,

Why don't you find the brand name and model number of your inverter then cruise down the information super highway searching for the owners manual for it.

That will also give you a heads up on it's capabilities other than battery charging.

Good Luck,

Dallas

GO BUSSING!

Hey Harry,

If it's still hooked up an working there is a place to plug the charger in just inside the door! It has a chrome cap that covers it. It's right next to the door should be able to see it when standing in the doorway. I find most of the time the battery maintainers don't work  any more. But you could be lucky, your's could be the exception to the rule! BK
