Title: Vanner battery monitor
Post by: epretot on July 06, 2025, 02:49:04 PM
My battery balancer was damaged by some flames coming from my cheap Chinese battery charger. I will post about that later.

I replaced my Vanner with a different model with the same specs. This newer model has a "power" light. This light is not currently lit.

My battery balancer for the house batteries has a "standby" light to show it has power. Another light comes on when its operating to balance the bank.

Does anyone know if this should be lit all of the time?

Thanks

I believe the power light only comes on when the ignition is on. That is not actually the balancer, it is the controller for the balancer. It illuminates the dummy lights on the dash when there is a balance issue.

Great. Thank you.
