Title: Where is my steering fluid reservoir?
Post by: Jaime&Patrick on June 22, 2025, 12:54:45 PM
This is or is not a silly question considering how long we've owned this bus, but does anyone know offhand where the power steering fluid reservoir is on a 2000 Setra S217 HDH?

The mechanism is in the spare tire compartment behind the front bumper, but I'll be danged if I can find where to check the level!

Thanks you guys!

In the engine compartment at the passenger side near the back corner of the engine. Should be a site glass but maybe not if it is a newer one than mine. :^

The reservoir and the pump are 1 unit on most Setra it has  a 1 pc cap dip stick  cap sort of like a automobile follow the belt on the series 60 and you should find it
