In the manual it tells you to use a starting aid of some type on the series 60 when the ambient temperature is below 40 degrees, that is Yvan's D model that lives in Canada wonder what the temperature was on that start, no 4 stroke diesel will start as fast the old 2 stroke it take longer to build heat, that is why they have starter fluid canisters, glow plugs, block heaters or air heaters. I used to fire the 4-53 DD with 23:1 compression ratio of at 0 F with no aids
