Title: Replacement for Atwood Water Heater model EHM11?
Post by: zoneVphotography on June 06, 2023, 02:41:28 PM
One of my water heaters likely has a broken tank and needs to be replaced. It is an Atwood EHM11. There are two of them side by side. I have been told by local technicians that replacements are near impossible, so does anyone have experience with switching to a different brand or system for hot water? The bus is a 1996 MCI Featherlite conversion. It is all electric, no propane at all on the coach. Thank you.

The Whale Seaward 11 gal heater should be the same, they are made in China but Kuuma should have one too, brands won't make a difference.match the voltage for the 2

I had a Kuuma water heater but I only got 2 years out of it before it started leaking and the dealer that sold it to me gave me a break on a better w/h and it has been fine but was more $$

If you  are not plumbed for making hot water from the engine while driving you don't need a heater with the heat exchange plate they are quite a bit cheaper

Thank you everyone for the help. I ordered 2 of the 11 gallon water heaters from the provided links. As the bus is plumbed to make hot water from the engine they were the right ones. Thanks again.
