Evansville, Indiana September 22 - 24 of 2017 hosted North America's largest gathering of antique buses.
Conceived and hosted by the BusBoys (Stan and Dan Holter of Bloomington, Minnesota) with more than a hundred antique coaches descending on Evansville, Indiana. They literally turned a vacant lot next to the restored Greyhound Terminal into a village. Many enthusiasts lived in buses converted to motorhomes.
Hundreds of bus fans traveled from as far as Australia to participate in the event which ended with a 70-bus parade through downtown. One observer said he felt he'd ridden a Time Machine back to the 1960's
