Title: Old fuel
Post by: treeplanter on May 13, 2023, 06:49:48 AM
The fuel in my bus has been in the tank for over three years without being on the road, probably causing the injectors to get stuck, should I dump the old diesel? Tank was almost full.

I'd personally check for any stuck injectors & rack first and make sure emergency shutdown flapper is operable and run the fuel that's in the tank.

No it is still good you can buy StarBrite enzyme treatment for 20 bucks that is good for 250 gals it works ,buy the one with the green cap,the white cap is for the crappy ethanol gasoline .It nothing to start a 2 stroke on 20 year old diesel fuel if the injectors are not stuck
