Trying to figure out a bus for a family friend. It's a 95 new flyer parked in the grass. Left side won't raise with air bags at all. No leaks. Can't get under it. Starts and airs up fine. What am I missing?
It will more then likely be an issue with the rear leveling valve on the low side. Sometimes they need to be moved to get them to work. Try moving the bus so they will move the valve. Worst case the valve needs replacing because you said there is no air leaks. DO NOT go under the bus without solid blocking under the body. No cement blocks either. They will crumble with the weight if the bus. Use solid wood blocks in a solid surface.
So there is a leveling valve that controls left ide only mounted on rear axle? Bus has a kneeler system. It is working and will raise and lower right sight but left does nothing. Going to have to get it out of dirt and up on blocks

There is three leveling valves. One at the front to raise and lower the front and one on each side at the rear to control the left or right tilt. The normal factory lowering system only lowers the front for easy passenger on and off. As I said before do not attempt to go under without proper blocking. These valves are the same as truck valves and also call Luke

I see this is the original post.
The problem is probably under the bus. When he initially bought this bus he parked in the mud and buried it. After he got unstuck he drove it home with left side down and parked it in the dirt again where it sunk over the winter. I had told him to put boards under which he didn't. Next week were gonna pull it out again and get it up on blocks
There is a little arm from the leveling valve to body. Maybe it is disconnected. When you have it safely nlo ked up disconnect this arm and move it to see if you can hear air going to the bag. Use a compressor or run bus to build up the air then shut off so you can hear the air movement.
