It took a while, but the bus has been sold. It will leave later this morning headed to South Carolina. Will be sad to see it go....
Sounds like the end of a chapter Ed. Congatulations on the sell..
Some one got a nice a nice MCI 5 you and JC both took good care of that one,a new paint job it will look sharp.
What now Ed just bike riding ?
The cost of engine repairs with parts ,labor now a lot of long-time bus people are going in a different direction.
Good to hear Ed! I still miss that bus...
Onward now.
That's quite sad.
Why did you sell?
Awesome Ed. A relief we are sure for you guys. :^
Dreadnought, even though i am in pretty good health overall, my back and hip have been letting me know that maintaining a bus was going to start causing problems that would probably lead to surgery sooner or later. I would just as soon avoid that for as long as possible. I have other activities and hobbies that i would like to be able to keep doing for many years. :)
I'm sorry to hear that Ed, but glad you were able to sell your coach.
I hope I'm able to transition early to nomadic bus living before I have health issues. It's all pretty scary
I know where you are coming from Ed.When I bought my Prevost ,I thought I would be in good health forever but nature had some surprises for me!! I will be listing mine on the BMC bus for sale soon.Hate to do it but at 81 I don't see any
y other way out.

Stay active keep moving stay away from prescription drugs those places go away and another one pops up.I had a Herena repaired in DEC that sucked only took 6 months to find a surgeon to do it because of my age :(
Must be one of the lucky ones, 83 wife is 85 and still going fairly strong. Takes longer to do things, but we do them. Getting ready for a 4000-mile trip last part of May into June. Still riding our Honda Goldwing Trike. Cliff yes at our age we have parts that hurt we didn't know we had.
I stay plenty active and don't take any prescriptions. ;D
A Goldwing with training wheels heck Ed I still ride my Harley with 2 wheels :^,I don't take any prescriptions they start you with one then add 10 more for the side affects. I like what Van said today we don't see any more peaks in our lives that happen years back
Got a friend in his 80s that is going to Alaska on his motorcycle at the end of May.
