Title: OT Observation
Post by: skipn on March 22, 2007, 02:11:25 PM

It would appear that "cabin fever" or "spring fever" may be among us due to the fact that we have had 2 major wind ups in the last seven days.

    Possible solutions.
For those who have road worthy buses.
           1. Fill er up. (we all can agree to the pain that that can cause)
           2. Pick a direction doesn't really matter which way.
           3. head out for about 500 miles find a nice spot to call it a night then head back home
           4. Post any fun or tribulations you had so the rest of can be enlightened on your experience.
For those who are working on your bus.
            1. Go out and give your bus a kiss and pat your significant other and let them know it just seems we are nuts.
            2. Sit in the drivers seat and enjoy the fact that this bus is yours. (most people would never understand)
            3. If you have chairs in your bus sit with whome ever have some libation and tell tall tales of what your bus can do.

But for goodness sake enjoy life and this BBS is not your life.

    Just some thoughts

And those of us without buses, will sit in the driveway and dream.....and then come back inside and keep learning from the board.

Thanks to all those that help us who have only started.

Skip,

I have been around these boards for a few days and it seems we have flare ups like on the Sun at random times.

Who really knows why for sure!   But they come and go.

I couldn't agree more on if this bbs is all you have to do....get a life!

To put everything in perspective a guy that works for me called me this morning to say he wasn't coming in.

He woke up and his wife was still asleep, she is normally an early riser.  She felt unusually cold and he found out she had passed on.

A blood clot, she was 48.

So, unless your terminally ill, quit your bitchin and enjoy your life.

There's no guarantee on tommorow, do it now!

I for one, gave my kids a bigger hug, kissed my wife like we were dating and started the bus.   OK, maybe not in that order.  ;D

Off my soapbox.

Two weeks ago I packed up, pulled the land plugs and drove down to Hot Springs National Park.  Only an hour, but WOW, did if feel great tobe  behind the wheel, traveling down the road.   ;D

Now if I could just find out how to check the coolant levels....!
