Title: Parts & Maintenance Disk
Post by: Eagle on March 21, 2007, 09:59:06 AM
I have an Eagle 10 and due to Old Mother nature she has just about destroyed my maintenance and parts books for my Eagle.  I was curious whether anyone has used the compact disk that Silver Eagle has out and whether it is worth the $99.00 compared to the book versions at $250.00.  Water Leak.  I have to take the blame for some of the problem.

I got the disk but not from Eagle, so I don't know if there is a difference, but we still have to go back to the books because there is to much missing on the Disk.  I beleive the books are a lot better and gives more info.

I have a parts CDROM for my Dina, but would prefer a book.  Dina tends to use obscure names for some parts making them hard to find with the software on the CD.  If I had a book I could flip through until I saw the right part in a diagram.

The reason I got the CDROM is because it was only $10 versus about $100 for the book.
