Thanks Ed I knew Bur for many years he was good guy so sad to here this
I first met him at some of the rallies at Rickreall but never really got to know him until the summer before last when we were both stuck here in Yuma. I would ride my bicycle by his place and stop in to see him and swap stories or lend a hand if he needed it. He will be missed.

Ed did he ever get the 8v92 installed in his Prevost before he passed away,we were going to rebuild his 8v71 T but he decided it was too far gone and would cost to much to rebuild
Yes he got the 8 92 and auto put in there prevost. They were at our eagle rally in Nebraska and Branson. We were happy to be able to send some time with him. It was a shock that he went so fast he seemed to be in good shape the first of Oct. He will be missed. Keep Laura and her family in your prayers.

He did look in good shape when him and Laura stopped by for some parts, and we went to lunch together he got the 8v92 from Marty didn't he Wayne ? sad indeed
Not sure where he got the motor if he said I don't remember. I know when they left Branson he went to Springfield to get some work done on the exhaust manifold.
A short story about Laura and Wilbur. Laura and I graduated for the same school and same class but didn't know each other. About 15 years ago Wilbur posted (maybe here) if there were any bus nuts in northern Colorado. I answer back and we met at our place. After a while of talking we discovered our paths had crossed a couple of different way.Wilbur worked with Lin's dad and Laura was friends with Lin's brother. We all became good friends. Amazing the things that happen when you own a bus. RIP Wilbur
Wayne
Pretty sure he got the engine from somebody in MidLand Tx.

In Branson
First time I saw that Prevost I told Bur you will never get it finished lol he said Mike Wilson would do his thing and it will nice he was right ,him being a truck driver he wanted a bus with a 7 speed manual transmission so that is what he got ,it surprises me he changed over to a automatic, he never was happy though with the 8v71 T after 2 engines he wanted something else like a big cam 400 Cummins he will be missed by all that knew him
David the picture you posted is not Wilbur and laura. That is Ben and Frea.
Thanks Wayne I knew that was not Bur the bus looked to be a 45 ft Wilburs was 40 ft,lol if Ben would have had his Corona, I would recognize him ? is that the Prevost he bought from Dick Wright ? I need to make another Eagle's rally someday if you guys allow the S/ S jobs

Oh no, I am so sorry. I goofed. Is there any way I can get back to the post to remove it? The modification time has already passed. Was Wilbur's bus the purple and black Prevost?
David
Gary removed the photo. Thanks, Gary.
Sorry for the mixup.

I don't what color he ended up with, but Wilbur was a little different build from Ben,I hought that could be his you posted till I noticed it was a 45-footer,he liked hanging out with the GM and Eagle people he didn't care much for hanging out with the Prevost crowd he was sort of like another Prevost owner I knew
Yes the purple prevost is Wilbur and Laura's
Wayne
Ok, this is the one.
