So it was brought to my attention today that there is a free PD 4104 on the east coast. The bus itself is free but it doesn't run, so it will need to be moved sideways into the next bay where there is a door. And then be towed to it's new home.
The title is clear, owner is getting to old...
His parents bought it 40 years ago and never finished it. I hear there are some spare parts. Engine and transmission intact. Just missing a couple of bay doors.
The people that brought this to my attention don't want to see it scrapped. It is located in eastern Pennsylvania near the Ohio border near I-80.
