Title: Selling the bus?
Post by: Tedsoldbus on November 02, 2022, 08:01:33 AM
I've been busy lately fixing headlights, replacing the fridge, replacing the electric toilet that died at Nappanee, fixing the ignition, looking for a little 24V bulb, changing out the ratty bathroom sink fixture.
So perhaps that is why Rita asked if I was getting sick of the constant maintenance and if I ever pondered selling the bus. I told her
"There may come a Time".

Yup.

The real hobby is bus maintenance.

Anything else that we do with the bus, is just a front.

Too many find out too late...

Happy coaching!

The real sport of bus ownership is the opportunity to solve problems, and be creative. What other hobby would cause you to create a clever full hookup mirage? Headlights and bulbs are small potatoes in the grand scheme of things. You are doing quite well, and don't forget you enjoy driving it.

That is a good reminder. I do love working on things I can fix. I do the "RV" stuff pretty well. I have learned about this 24 V thing and will resolve it. Glad it is not a transmission problem.
Enjoyed meeting you at Nappanee. Hope to see you again. Maybe there in 2023!
