A friend of mine saw this north of San Francisco. I've never seen this style of Flxible, rare I assume.
Flxible Vista liner.Popular model.
Years ago, friend had one converted. had a V6-71.
he named it Knotabus.
Jere Brannon in Texas has one for sale with the Cummins L10 engine
That's an impressive FLXIBLE. I'm sure it has a rich history and I'm sure the interior is just as impressive.
Very classy bus,, I have seen several in the last 20 years..>>>Dan
The VL100 in the photo is were Eagle copied their suspension from most of those went to Trailways for the 5 years they were manufactured neat buses ,the J Cummins engine wasn't that great though
Well being that it's not a GM type V drive, any number of better modern engines and transmissions are likely now powering those.

Space is limited because like a Eagle they have a drop box and are 35 ft buses not much space in the engine compartment being 35 ft the 8.2 and L 10 Cummins fit nicely, back in the days mechanics had names for the JT (just trash) the JS was (just $#!%)
our friend had the torsalistics replaced. remembering him commenting on how many tons the press job was.
Don the Blinkens in Granite Bay by the entrance to the lake had one in Dark green same model for 20 years but sold it about 3 years ago. They owned a bunch of Wendy's local and some in other states and used it to travel in.
