Generally the tanks are on the passenger side, not the driver's side.  The tank is probably directly under the bathroom.

Mine had a lever that looked a little like a cleco clamp.  It was located on the top of the tank, readily accessible from the engine side door.  I made the mistake of flipping it when I didn't know what it was, and dumped some sewage on my feet before I could react.  A buddy that was admiring the the bus almost did the same thing.

Hopefully one the owners of a 4106 will chime in here for more specific instructions.

Dutch -

I answered your question over on the BNO board, but here it is again for other GMC owners who might not have seen it:

First, make sure you're over a suitable waste receptacle, not the city gutter.

Raise the toilet seat. Lift the small access door to the side of the bowl. Pull up on the T-handle to drain.

There is also a drain for the washbasin, inside the access door under the basin. Open this gate valve, and that tank will drain into the main holding tank.

Jerry32 -

On an MCI, the drain handle for the holding tank is located inside the rear curbside access door, near the top of the compartment.  Simply follow the 3" drain pipe up from the bottom of the compartment to find it.  If you've owned a "stick 'n staple" RV, you'll recognize the handle, as they're similar.  Again, make sure you're over a suitable waste receptacle before attempting to drain the tank.

Some MCIs have an air assist dump valve.  If yours is one of these, the handle looks similar to the one up front for the front door claw lock, and will be located on a small panel, again, inside the rear curbside access door.

Prevosts are similar to MCIs.

FWIW & HTH. . .

Dutch,

Are you going to try and put the toilet back in service? Unless you tried to use it on your trip it shouldn't have anything in it. The PO had never used it. Do some research before you spend a lot of time restoring something you might find you wish you hadn't. Remember that it was designed to be used by 41 passengers and emptied frequently. Those people didn't have to try to overnight in the bus either. The bus restroom is kind of like a glorified outhouse on wheels. You lift the lid and you see the turds. On the bright side, it gives you something to aim at.
