Title: MCI 102DL3 A/C Question
Post by: bqalli on April 24, 2022, 11:40:14 AM
Hello everyone,

Is there someone knowledgeable enough to point me in the right direction?

I have a 1999 MCI 102DL3 and I'm trying to find the shrader valves for bus AC Freon evacuation. I'm looking around and only see these types in the middle AC bay, where the big radiator is at.

Is that where they are or is it in the rear where that big compressor is?

Any help is appreciated. And yes I know, to be responsible about Freon recycling.

Should have them on the compressor as well.

Mind if I ask where exactly I can evacuate the Freon from the AC system on this coach?

should be taps in area near blowers behind condenser or in dash behind evaporator.

It has a valve to open and a port on the low side of the 05 compressor

The ports may be hiding under protective covers, that don't look like it, to automotive peeps.

BW is correct! The covers over the valves on these are usually a little cone several inches long.
