I need a diagram of how the mechanical modulator valve is connected to the throttle assembly on top of the governor. A guy in NY is installing a v730 and I don't have the picture of the way it is connected. Thanks for any help.
Bill, since there have been no other answers, maybe this will help. It's a scan of the throttle control section from an RTS maintenance manual -- for a fleet I purchased around 1983 or so. I think I remember that the engines were 6V92's, transmissions were V730s.
It shows the transmission end of the modulator connection on page 8, has the system layout on page 2, but doesn't seem to show the governor end connection (which should have been on the drawings on pages 4 & 5.)
Hopefully this helps. If the PDF doesn't attach to this, email me at runcutter@runcutter.com and I'll email the PDF to you.

I can get you a photo from a MCI,they are really simple you can attach it with a slotted end to the control arm on the governor or make a bracket to attach to the cable ? are you using a pull type modulator or the push type
That is an air modulator run cutter.
I will have to ask him if it is a push or pull type.
Thanks for the help.
The instructions for hooking it up and the adjustment should be in the Mechanic Tips manual for a V730 on page 20 ?
I wrote the entire Mechanics Tips to him so I hope he can figure out the set up to control the valve. Thanks for the help.
