Title: Headlight Bezels?
Post by: Bryan on February 14, 2022, 12:02:37 PM
Hey guys,

Take a look at my headlight bezels. I know this happens to a lot of prevosts. They don't make them anymore either. I'm wondering if these can be fixed by sanding them down and dipping them in Chrome? or I might could just have them sanded down and painted black to match the bus paint. I could paint that whole area. Any thoughts on this? Or maybe where I could get some used ones in good shape? Thank you!

If they are stainless steel, you can buff them out to a mirror finish.

They feel kinda of plasticy... the chrome on them is peeling off.

Hey at least you don't have the old round headlights!!! I could fake that my bus is a couple years newer with the square ones LOL!!!

My round lights are in this plastic enclosure for which I think there is a aftermarket stainless steel part to update it.

That said there's a YouTube video that I saw earlier today that might interest you...

Hey don't knock the roundies. There are some great 7 inch led options from the off road world out here for us.

just spoke with a local body shop. They are going to be able to sand them down and get all the peeling stuff off of them. Probably going to paint them black to match the body.
