Have ran across a 1998 Country coach on a Gillig bus chassic with a series 60 engine for sale. Looking for opinion's on this set up. Coach has less than hundred thousand on it. Its a ways away from my location so a quick look is not in the cards.
Country Coach is one of the top brands in high end motor homes. Built as good or better than buses. I don't know much about Gillig chassis, but I've heard nothing but good about them.

I have a friend that has a '98 Custom Coach. It's construction is nothing but quality.
Gillig has been a heavy CHASSIS builder since GOD..>>>Dan
I was told Country Coach would have kept the Gillig chassis if they would have
built a 45 ft chassis with independent front suspension
Thanks for the replies. I just hadn't heard a lot about the Gillig chassic's. Looks like in order to get into the 60 series engine coach's we are going to be at the top end of our budget and may have to raise it to into one. Doesn't seem to be a lot for sale in the midwest so we may have to wait until spring and do some traveling to look at some coachs. As we all know pictures don't tell the whole story a lot of the time. Hope everyone is having a good winter. The weather here hasn't been to bad so far. With the wife still working and heating shop and house with a wood boiler it tough to get away during the winter.
