It seems a couple of the chassis side outputs need to be reconfigured and I'm told you can't do that with a reader.
It's for a Pete that used to have a DDEC2 and they swapped to the DDEC4 and at that time changed wiring, added a module, etc and had it working correctly but the guy who did the work is no longer available. This is my brother's truck and a replacement ECM because the old one died. Could be it just needs a new watch battery but he's afraid that if he pulls the cover and breaks the seal nobody will work on it and he'll have to shell out thousands for a new one. So he has a junkyard replacement which runs the truck just fine but it has error codes for some outputs that his Pete doesn't use. Sounds to me like he just needs somebody who can go in and turn off error reporting on those outputs. He's located in western West Virginia. Anybody know someone who could help with this?
