Title: Manufacturers switches
Post by: TomC on November 19, 2021, 09:08:24 AM
As many of you know, I'm converting my '85 Kenworth cabover Aerodyne to a motorhome with a garage in the back. I had two toggle switches on the dash go bad, so I went to Kenworth to get 2 more plus one extra. For the three toggle switches- $189.37! I imagine many have the same situation with name brands from Prevost and MCI. Good Luck, TomC

Mine are crumbled so I looked up bump stops on Amazon. $30 to a high of $50 or so but nothing that fits my baby Prevost. Prevost parts guys were stumped due to bus being 1980. I knew Luke at US Coach could do it. Luke got them for me best price he could find. A mere $118.00 per side. It is my understanding that Prevost has them manufactured at the International Space Station for $4 and change. But the Shipping costs!!! forgetaboutit.

Hope that makes you feel better.

I used to have a KW Aerodyne in the early 90's. I believe it was a 1989 model. Funny how the revolution then was the T600's and I was stuck in the 60's. Loved my truck. Wish I had it today. Looking forward to pics!
