Title: Kingtec Air Heaters
Post by: luvrbus on November 09, 2021, 01:20:25 PM
Thought I would start a thread about air heaters

I have a good friend in Needles that runs 20 trucks he has Kingtec 14.000 btu air heaters with water loops he been running for over a year lol they look like the knock offs to me with a water loop.He tells me his insurance will only cover 5 brands of approved diesel air heaters for his trucks
Espar
Kingtec
Phillips & Tempro
Pro Heat
Webasto

Told me he got the best deal from Kingtec they was less than 500 bucks ea for buying 24 units and they will use more fuel than a 1/2 per hour ,he is now looking for ac units to cool with out the big engine running and he is to tight to pay 10,000 smackers for APU  units then he will spend big dollars on paint, chrome.lights and stacks. Makes you wonder if a trucks burns if the adjuster could tell the difference in brands
