.what are they part numbers for the air bags on my 4104 gmc bus?
Not sure of the numbers but Luke at US Coach in NJ will have them on the shelf. tel:+18567943104
What he said, and if you need those and other things have the serial or VIN of your bus if you can when you call him. Luke is the man.
Thanks a bunch. My 4104 has an 8v71t with an Alison and jake brakes. 8,500 miles on setup. Hope to have it back up this summer. Removing the fibreglass insulation with foam and upgrading the interior.
I've had my bus a year and can tell you these guys are a big help. You are on the right forum. Welcome to the mania. Ask them anything. Some of them have done it twice.
Do you know the donor for the engine and transmission? That will be really important as you try and trace down parts for them later on. Having their serial numbers on hand would help as well I'm guessing. Just something to put in the notebook.
Would love to see photos of how all that is shoved in the back of a 4104.
What Richard asked (& said)! :^
Serial numbers on those old engines and transmissions don't mean much most have been updated over the years and with the serial numbers you are back to square 1 ,that will be the 1st thing asked from the computer jockey though then the fun begins .Dan knows that 1st hand :^ when they were trying to find parts for his engine
