I just got a letter from goodsam roadside informing me that they will no longer cover my bus because it was "originally designed as a commercial vehicle ".
What are you using for roadside service?
CoachNet.
I got the same message, crappy after 16 years without using it.
My State Farm policy covers road side
assist for 12.80 a year going that route.
Good Sam membership will not be rented either.

If your auto insurance will cover motorhomes that is a good way to go. My auto insurance limits the roadside assistance to passenger vehicles only. No motorhomes. With some insurance companies the towing coverage is reimbursement only which means you are on the hook to find a towing company and then you send in the receipt and the insurance company pays. (Some might rather pick their own towing company anyhow.)
I don't know that an extra $100 or more for a roadside assistance company is worth it versus having to find your own towing company.
I have State Farm towing on my RV policy but mine is $80.00 a year,My son has State Farm too and used it for 150 mile tow and it cost him $21.00 my understanding and reading it will only cover the insured vehicle with full coverage only
When I drove off the side of the road trying to do a K turn (even after Billie told me it wouldn't work -- she told me TWICE) State Farm paid me back for it and I don't have full coverage.
Then she told me to take pictures of it because we would laugh at it later. We laughed about it that night.
Check with your agent Clifford.
I just gave them the bill and I got a check in the mail. Took a while but they paid for it.

I was warned about AAA motorhome coverage as they don't contract for towing companies that can handle our size rigs, so if you ask for assistance it can take 10 to 12 hours.
Signed up for couch.net before my next trip. Note you have to talk to representive as older buses don't have a true VIN which the web site expects.

I'm fortunate in that not only do I have a 17-digit VIN, but it is also coded as a "motorhome shell" - thank you very much, Prevost!
It has been preached for years even with a RV title on X revenue buses or school buses when they run the VIN it comes back as bus. Insurance is getting harder and harder to find and then you don't know what is covered. I laugh when people say don't mention bus say RV
