It is an RV conversion and it is built on a truck chassis.

There are some very interesting ideas, hardware and details that may be of interest for bus conversions. I like the adjustable rack, windows are awesome, various slides, and hydraulics. Even a custom refrig.

Then of course, this shuts up the whiners here that are afraid to take their bus onto dirt. LOL

Oh - don't forget to check out the driver seat, nothing I have ever heard about in the busnut world. who makes that thing?

Don that is an Isri seat from the truck world. Our national is very similar to it with same controls but cloth in stead of leather. Our two Bostrums wide seats are the same.

Prevost driver's seat has been a similar model Isri to that RV seat for many years now.

happy coaching!

Wow, there are just all sorts of ways I could screw that up.

Those seats look pretty adjustable and comfortable. Any estimate what a truck recycle yard is asking? The "fancy" seat in mine is very uncomfortable. Down the list but never know it might percolate up someday.

Close friends to our next door neighbors in Tok AK built from the frame up the rig in the photo named "The Farther".
It is super - efficient, insulated, redundant & self contained. They reside next to Denali NP and use "The Farther" in winter months & have driven the ALCAN in winter from AK WA AK. A really cool rig capable of going much farther in very inclement conditions...
When we 4x4ed 67 mi into McCarthy & Kennecott AK there were quite a few Tactical truck campers around. Very awesome rigs and the owners that drove them.

I am telling you - the world has simply gone insane and heading for a massive financial crash. Just another example where money is flowing into hard assets and unloading the paper profits in equities. SOLD for $241,000! Beyond comprehension. WTF - why aren't our buses selling for $100k?? Feeling very badly choking on the dust from the stampede of mad money.

I've run into a few of these sorts of vehicles.    They ride like a lumber wagon.   5 MPG.  60MPH max.  $2000 tires.  Noisy as hell.  Limited living space.  Not my cup of tea.

The promotion for these vehicles is always camping in some remote, off road location.   Great if you want to live off the grid in the boonies.  It is not even legal in many places.  Also not my cup of tea.

If you really want to get back in the sticks, bring a SxS or dirt bikes and do day trips.
