Does anyone know what these Potter&Brumfield relays control on a 1971 Fishbowl?

Are they tied to any of that aftermarket valving on the top of the transmission?

You may have a custom tranmsission control?

It looks like to me a force downshift set up for the trans. The VS2's were known to downshift late so you can force them to down shift with the movement of a switch.
