Title: Bendix Air Compressors
Post by: muddog16 on March 11, 2007, 05:44:28 PM
I was looking at several Bendix Air Compressors that run off of the auxiliary drive on an 8v92,  do the model numbers depict the output size.......like  TF500 or TF700, does the 700 put out 700cfm and does the 500 put out 500 cfm?   Thanks Pat

Yes, a TuFlo 500 is 500 cfm.

Air brake compressors generally put out between 10-15 cfm.  A 500 cfm compressor would take about a 100hp engine to run.  Good Luck, TomC
