Title: Las Vegas
Post by: chessie4905 on July 22, 2021, 08:52:12 AM
Have been noticing the haze in and around here, especially looking down from surrounding mountains. Thought is was air pollution, but apparently it is from the wildfires in the western and north western states from here. Weather service said it is even covering some cities in the eastern US.

We always get SoCal smoke from their fires, appearing as haze, carried by the jet stream, in LV.
Where are you staying Cheesie? Is it nice enough to recommend to friends? lvmci...

We are at Arizona Charlie's, just off main drag. Nice place rv parking on concrete slabs, security, 50 amp, water, sewer. Gated. About 45 dollars a night. Bring your own shade.lol. Drove around in evening. They must not ask about vehicle age. Saw some 20 year old rv's here, but in decent condition, saw no junk ones. Park is clean, no yelling kids around. I would recommend it. But not for 45 footers. Spaces are not real wide like ones in the country though. More like a location to stay while going to all the nearby attractions.

All of Ontario, into Quebec, down to the atlantic provinces are experiencing hazy smoke from the forest fires to the west.

Lots of reds in the sunrise and sunset.

Happy coaching!
